  • Item C.I.C. stands for Community Interest Company. This means we operate for the benefit of the community rather than private profit. Any surplus income is reinvested back into the project to support animal care, facilities, and community programs.

  • We care for a variety of animals, which include chickens, goats, pigs, and other smallholding animals. Each animal is treated as an individual and provided with appropriate care, enrichment, and veterinary support.

  • Visits are usually by appointment only to ensure the welfare of our animals and a positive experience for guests. Please contact us to arrange a visit or check our social media for open days and events

  • Yes! We welcome volunteers who are passionate about animals and community work. Tasks may include animal care, cleaning, gardening, maintenance, or helping with events.
    All volunteers must complete an application and induction process.

  • Children are welcome to visit however under 5 years old can visit with adult supervision. Volunteering opportunities for young people may be available depending on age and activity, and always with parental consent and supervision.

  • We offer educational visits, Home Ed group sessions, workshops, and wellbeing sessions focusing on:

  • Absolutely! We love working with schools, community groups, businesses, charities and other individuals, Get in touch to discuss collaboration opportunities.

  • We are based in Mill lane, Galmpton, right along side the beautiful river Dart and next to Galmpton creek. Full directions are provided once a visit is booked.

  • Unfortunately, donations are non-refundable, but they are hugely appreciated and directly support animal care and community projects.

  • Animal welfare is our top priority. We follow best practice standards, provide regular health checks, appropriate diets, enrichment activities, and work with veterinary professionals when needed.

    we have regular checks from South Hams Animal welfare department for our animals Licences along with Annual inspections from D.E.F.R.A for our goat walking licences. Our vets are always happy to help when they are called for extra help
